The Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Cottbus represents the interests of around 37,000 member companies from the industry, trade, services, and transport sectors. As the region’s self-governing economic body, it advocates for business interests, supports economic development, and helps create favorable conditions for entrepreneurial activity.

With its initiative "Ukraine Desk", CCI Cottbus aims to strengthen bilateral economic relations between Ukraine and Germany and also offers a range of services to Ukrainian companies.

The project is being implemented in cooperation with the Saxony Trade & Invest Corp., the Brandenburg Economic Development Agency, German-Ukrainian Chamber of Industry and Commerce as well as Cottbus Economic Development Agency. The aim is to facilitate access to the Ukrainian market for around 160,000 Brandenburg-based companies and almost 155,000 Saxony-based companies, particularly SMEs, and to develop concrete opportunities for economic cooperation. The office serves as a central point of contact for companies, institutions, project sponsors and economic and political actors from Brandenburg, Saxony and Ukraine.
